Java Chic

The post should probably be 'Made In Indonesia' since the products that are featured came from all parts of Indonesia. But Since Jakarta (which is the capital city of Indonesia) is situated in the island of Java and is pretty much the centre of consumerism out of the (estimated)237 million people. I think its pretty much easier and sound better to define the style and fashion moment that I'm on about.
For those of you pretty people that doesn't know where Indonesia is. Here is a map that'll make your IQ higher ;)

Really there's nothing much happening in the country besides
...Ummm well the fact that Indonesia has 365 native language and spoke Bahasa Indonesia as their main official language; 300 ethnic groups; more or less 450 tribes; 100 active volcanoes; and not to forget spoilt by choice travel destination that will blew your head away if you're really into nature and mysticism.
Well if you really want to learn about the more polished fact about my country of origins then your best friend (but not mine) Wikipedia will keep you up-to-date ever so freely.

Anyhow my main point is that with such a diverse taste and large surface area to cover and the ability to live harmonically since 1945. Indonesia is quite some place that seems pretty good to start or extend business opportunity within the consumerism and creative industry .
I'm dying to see how myself as young and curious generation of Indonesian who study Textile abroad has a place within the industry in this beautiful country in the next couple of years.

4. The timeless silhoutte and modern concept of Nikicio is definately something to keep our eyes on. I can't imagine how exciting the world of fashion blog will become when they start to open their online shop. I really wish that the Team of the brand is working on a safe and super quick International buying/shipping service, so that I could legally own a piece of their creation.
